2004 Progress on Midlife

It's been a long time since I've updated the website with progress on Midlife, the car.  Much of the first part of the year was spent painting: trunk, interior, undercarriage, side cowls, and engine compartment.  Here's some pics:

I've also refurbished the rear axle, painted it, and installed it.  I've also installed the long brake and fuel lines.

I cleaned up all the suspension and steering components, and installed them, along with the rotors and wheels.

While no brakes are installed, I am now able to move the car around on its own wheels!  Wheeeee!  This is the first time Midlife has been off the lift and own its own in 2.5 years!  My...how time flies!
